The Print

All images are printed on smooth fine art, Ilford Galerie, Professional Inkjet photo paper, and printed using a Canon Pixma pro 9000. Prints are produced to a standard size, either 21 x 29.7cm (A4) or 29.7 x 42cm (A3), If you would like a bespoke size please email us at tom@thomaswoodphotography.co.uk.

The sizes quoted above are for the paper used, not for the printed area. All our prints come with a border of typically between 1cm and 3cm

Colour Balance

It is our intention to produce prints that closely resemble the on-screen version. However, it must be noted that the characteristics of prints and monitors are fundamentally different, further more the colour calibration of your monitor, and our monitors may differ and therefore a 100% match isn’t always possible.

Caring for your print.

There are some common sense things you can do to help keep your print looking as good as it did on the day you received it:

Avoid touching the printed surface, always handle prints by the edges. Even if your hands look clean, oils on your skin may be deposited on the print causing damage.

All prints are sensitive to UV light and will degrade if left in bright sunlight or fluorescent light for extended periods of time.

High humidity and temperature will reduce the life span of the print.
